Cafe Gaia

Nestled in a residential street in South Yarra is Cafe Gaia, a laid-back yet polished venue just off the busier Toorak Road.

Slightly better rounded than your everyday cafe, Gaia’s menu of rustic classics boasts a fine selection of fresh, locally produced offerings from a number of quality suppliers including the likes of Noisette Bakery and The Goods Unltd.

Licensed and open seven days a week, a breakfast and lunch menu is available Monday through Saturday, with all day brunch (replete with obligatory bloody or virgin Mary) served until 3pm on Sunday. Sample the seasonal crumbles, epic salads or tasty piadinas, made with roasted local produce.

A small but succinct wine list is also available should you fancy a tipple with your meal. But if coffee is what you need after a trot around the Tan, never fear – Gaia serves PadreMarket Lane and Proud Mary‘s Single Origin.
